Bryant Heights

Client: Polygon Northwest

Located in the Ravenna-Bryant community, the 165,000 SF site will include homes and a mixed-use building that extends the commercial node along NE 65th St. The project adds a community of 14 houses, 39 town homes, 28 condos, 8 live work units, and 6,500 SF of commercial space. To preserve the existing sites’ character Fazio Associates helped develop a site plan that salvaged over 25 existing trees, including a cluster of Douglas Fir trees that were incorporated into the overall design. Circulation and pedestrian paths were incorporated into the design to enhance the existing pastoral landscape and take advantage of two large exceptional trees that became the major focal point of the internal courtyards ‘central greenbelt’. The sight-lines of the two exceptional trees along with the pedestrian circulation helped blend the 3-different building zones together to help create a unified community that complements the wonderful Bryant neighborhood.
