Fazio Associates designed the plaza space at the southwest corner of 123rd Avenue NE and NE District way, and screening elements at the third level for the Block 16 building. Integrated raised planters, integrated benches, and chess tables create a separation from the public sidewalk while providing circulation space around and through the plaza. Dense vegetation in the planters also screens a large garage air intake at the corner, and provides privacy for the plaza users.
