This senior housing development is a seven-story building located in the downtown district of Bellevue. Retail uses at the ground floor are stepped up from sidewalk level, and a mid-block connector runs along the south side of the building. A new planting strip with new street trees, shrubs and groundcover complement the new wide sidewalk. Benches, raised planters, and stairs help mitigate the grade difference between the sidewalk and retail spaces. Large integrated planters with trees, shrubs and groundcover help provide screening to the west and south of the building. On the second level, a courtyard provides outdoor amenity space for the memory car residents.
